GREELEY — An Ault man’s apparent six-year obsession with an Eaton woman could land him back in prison after he was arrested Monday for allegations that he was following her and her boyfriend.
Matthew Ruff, 25, faces a felony stalking charge, punishable by four to six years in prison. Ruff was on parole after serving a six-year prison sentence handed down in 2006 for intimidating a witness/victim and felony menacing.
He’s being held in Weld County Jail on a $75,000 bond on charges of violating a restraining order, stalking, harassment and a parole violation.
