Robert Montoya, a man on the FBI Most Wanted list for a brutal attempted murder of two men in Evergreen seven years ago is under arrest in Texas, 9News reports.
Montoya was captured Friday night by U.S. marshals in El Paso after a joint operation between the FBI and Mexican police.
The search for Montoya began in Evergreen in 2004, when, FBI agents say, he viciously attacked two men cleaning a home on Tresine Drive.
According to the FBI, Montoya shot the two execution-style with their hands tied behind their backs. The shots should have killed the men, but they both managed to survive. Still, the FBI says they have serious, permanent injuries.
