We like to throw parties. From our monthly to our semi-regular , we take the art of the party very seriously. And the one we have cooked up for this year’s CMJ Music Marathon — the SXSW of New York — may be our best party yet.
It’s a representative sample of progressive independent music that we find appealing at this point in time. In keeping with the expanded mission of this site, the lineup offers a mix of Colorado locals and some talented out-of-towners. We’ll tell you more about the event and the featured artists in the weeks to come, but alas, this is your official invitation to come join us on October 22. And if you won’t be in New York for CMJ, this is your cue to invite your friends who will. And best of all, like all of our events, this party is free — because, well, why not?
