• CLARIFICATION: A story that appeared Tuesday on Page 1A oversimplified state wildlife managers’ response to the killing of pastured llamas near Loveland, apparently by a mountain lion. Immediately after the incident, they wanted to trap and kill the animal, but the landowner declined until a period of time had elapsed, which made managers uncertain that they would be removing the offending mountain lion.
• Because of a reporting error, the status of two of the three men accused of using fake gold to scam Chinese immigrants was misrepresented in a brief Tuesday on Page 2B. Yanwen Yang and Dejin Xu were listed as fugitives from justice based on crimes in California, but they have been taken into custody for those charges.
