FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Passengers at a Northern Colorado airport may soon be able to bypass security lines at Denver International Airport.

Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport director Jason Licon says passengers are already calling to sign up for the program, which is still being developed with help from a $220,000 federal grant.

Backers tell the Fort Collins Coloradoan ( ) that security wait times and parking fees would be lower at the local airport, and passengers’ checked bags would be transported securely.
