Aurora police are reporting the attempted abduction of a 13-year-old girl early this morning near Eldorado Park.

The incident occurred in the 17200 block of E. Brown Circle at 7:15 a.m..

The girl was walking to school when she was grabbed by a stranger, who reportedly attempted to drag her to his nearby vehicle. The girl was able to pull away from the man, run to her school and notify school officials who in turn alerted the Aurora Police Department.

Police were unable to find the suspect.

According to a press release from the Aurora Police Department, the suspect is described as a white male 20-40 years old, thin and has blond hair. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white Chrysler or Dodge minivan.
