DENVER—The father of a Denver man who was killed in a plane crash in Nepal says two memorial services are being planned for his son in October.

The Denver Post reports ( ) that one service for 26-year-old Andrew Wade is scheduled Oct. 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia. A service in Denver is being planned for late October.

Wade was among 19 people killed when a plane carrying tourists to view Mount Everest crashed Sept. 25 while trying to land.

Wade’s father, Don Wade, says his son had just completed his master’s degree at Simon Fraser University in Surrey, British Columbia, in visual analytics. Don Wade says that he was in India collaborating on a project among Simon Fraser, Boeing Co. and a Delhi-based software company.
