The Food and Drug Administration says True Leaf Farms is expanding its voluntary recall of bagged chopped romaine lettuce to include 2,498 cartons because of potential Listeria contamination.
The recall was originally for bags sold to retail food distributors in Oregon, Washington and Idaho, but has expanded to wholesale food distributors in 19 states including Colorado. It is unclear where the lettuce was distributed.
So far, no illnesses have been reported.
