BOULDER COUNTY — Emergency workers continued the search Sunday for a 72-year-old man who disappeared Friday near Long Lake Trail at Brainard Lake.
Ernest “Jon” Macaulay of Boulder was supposed to meet his girlfriend early Friday but failed to show up, said Marci Linton with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s deputies found his vehicle parked at the Long Lake trailhead in the Brainard Lake recreational area west of Boulder on Friday.
