A 19-year-old Colorado State University student who died earlier last month had an acute asthma attack, the Larimer County coroner’s office said today.
Sascha Franzel, of Honolulu, died Sept. 10 at her Fort Collins apartment. Her roommates told authorities they attempted to perform CPR after Franzel stopped breathing and became unresponsive.
She was later pronounced dead at Poudre Valley Hospital.
Franzel was a sophomore studying biological science.
