“There was so much heat. The sun was brutal. The spirits were high. I’ve written before about how hot it gets during these sessions right? So hot. Maybe it strengthens the bond the audience and performer. Both are willing to suffer for the other. Maybe that’s ridiculous. I dunno. Maybe everyone was just trying to hold on to that summer feeling in the last week of August. Whatever the reason, this show felt even more like a community bonding session.
Amazing Twin put in a very spirited performance of a new song, ManCub brought the epic dance party, and Accordion Crimes slowly built us up just so that they could destroy us like only they know how.”
