Really, the only definition for a heart-shaped box should be a velvet jewelry carrier. Enter Courtney Love.
Lana Del Rey covered the Nirvana song “Heart-Shaped Box” during a concert last week in Sydney. Love, the widow of songwriter Kurt Cobain, offered some interesting words of wisdom for the young singer regarding the tune.
Sunday evening, tweeted to , saying the song is about her vagina. Seemingly proud of the fact, Love referenced one of the more … steamy … lines in a Tweet: “you do know the song is about my Vagina right? throw down your umbilical noose so i can climb right back umm”
Vagina with a capitol V; is Love’s trademarked? Warning: Under no circumstances should anyone ever, ever Google “Courtney Love’s vagina.” She followed up quickly with another revealing message to Rey: “on top of which some of the lyrics about my vagina i contributed”
Why any gal would want her most private of parts referred to as a “magnet tar pit trap” is beyond me. Perhaps Love penned another favorite descriptor: “Meat-eating orchids.”
Love concluded her trio of Tweets with some heartfelt advice: “so umm next time you sing it, think about my vagina will you? lol xc” -Kelsey Fowler
