Getting your player ready...
When Village Homes opened its model ranch at The Crossings at Castle Pines in June, Village quickly ran through 10 sales – including six of the final 13 ranch-single-family patio homes Village will ever build there. “These buyers really want to make this move, to get the ranch living, the quiet, and the freedom to travel,” says Village’s Jackie Mullen. “We have homes that can make that happen right away, but they’re not going to last forever.”
Today at The Crossings, west on Castle Pines Parkway just past Monarch, Village has a choice of patio homes that you can tour, ready for delivery…such as a 3-bedroom ‘Camden’ walk-out ranch, with oversized 2-car attached garage and an entertainment-sized deck that overlooks The Crossings’ manicured park, priced at $399,900. It has 1,667 square feet of space on its ranch main level – including a luxury master 5-piece bath with a walk-in seated shower; nice fireplace, gourmet kitchen with huge island; and a large study behind French doors – plus another 1,000 feet on the walk-out.
You could have that right away – a few doors down from Village’s model home (it’s already pre-sold!) – but waiting until next year to market your house can be risky, Mullen says. “You’re talking scarcity,” she adds. “Our ranches in Castle Pines North are the only new low-maintenance ranches in the area that’ll deliver now. And when they’re gone, they’re gone.”
You can also see four final patio-townhomes by Village in The Crossings…one of them a ranch with 1,765 square feet, priced at $288,420. “People that make the leap to low maintenance living usually find that their homes sell faster than they anticipate; and they’re always happy they did it,” Mullen adds. Jerry and Sharon Brasel left Highlands Ranch for Castle Pines three years ago (their house sold in two weeks). “Jerry didn’t want to mow the lawn anymore,” Sharon Brasel recalled during a Tuesday afternoon walk around The Crossings’ trails. “One of the reasons we wanted out of Highlands Ranch was the traffic; we wanted a quieter location.”
At The Crossings they get surrounding open space, The Ridge public golf course with its beautiful clubhouse just up the Parkway from the enclave, along with small town grocery shopping and dining (La Dolce Vita, La Fajita’s, Duke’s)…plus good access to bigger shopping north or south.
