Many state offices will be closed today to observe Columbus Day.
State driver’s license offices, the Department of Public Health and Environment’s vital records office, the Division of Wildlife Service Centers and administrative offices for executive branch departments will be closed.
Federal offices, including the courts, also will be closed today.
There is no mail delivery.
Denver city and county offices will be open, as will Douglas, Broomfield and Boulder county offices.
Some counties, however, including Adams, Arapahoe and Jefferson counties will be closed.
Denver parking meters are not free.
