Denver police arrested a 31-year-old man for assault, sexual assault, felony menacing and kidnapping for allegedly holding his ex-girlfriend hostage after various other alleged attacks on her, 9News reported.
Eric Barney is in police custody. The woman began dating Barney in May and first reported his violent actions July 24, 9News reported. She said he held her against her will and abused her at her home for two months, ending in late September.
