With one punch, a bass player nearly killed his roommate and the lead guitar player of his band during a brawl early Saturday outside a Colorado Springs tavern.
It was a punch that Michael Sorden immediately regretted.
“He went down on his knees and started crying and begging for him to get up,” said Ernest Munoz, lead vocalist for the band, Aleister Wild.
Terry Span remains in a coma at Memorial Hospital and doctors have told friends and family members that he may never wake up. Even if he does, he may never be the same, Munoz said.
