Seuss on the Loose.

The Seuss on the Loose exhibit at the Durango Arts Center through Nov. 12 features selections of Dr. Seuss’ (Ted Geisel) original drawings, including pieces from his children’s books, and political cartoons. While at the center, you can also see a production of “Seussical the Musical.” Shows are at 7 p.m. this Thursday through Saturday and Oct. 27-29, with matinees on Saturday and Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance; $15 at the door. or 970-259-2606

Glenwood Ghost Walk.

The Frontier Historical Museum in Glenwood Springs is hosting its annual Ghost Walk through Oct. 29. Tour guides lead visitors up the hill to the oldest cemetery in town at night by lantern light, where they will meet the pioneers of Glenwood Springs, including Doc Holliday and Kid Curry. Tours are Friday and Saturday and Oct. 28-29, with four tours each night. Expect a moderate hike, and bring a flashlight. Advance ticket purchase recommended. or 970-945-4448

Ghost tour by trolley.

The Cheyenne Street Railway Trolley will offer its Halloween Ghost Tour of the Wyoming capital on Friday, Saturday and Oct. 28, 29 and 30 at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. or 307-778-3133

OktoberFeast in Craig.

Creede’s first OktoberFeast celebration will take place Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m. in the Creede Community Center. Music, a food competition and drinks will be featured. A $5 cover charge is required for entry and includes one free drink and food samples. or 719-658-2374
