BOULDER, Colo.—Boulder County District Attorney Stan Garnett says he will make it a priority to prosecute crimes against illegal immigrants.
Garnett says many people view illegal immigrants as criminals, making them vulnerable to wage theft, money scams, extortion and predatory lending.
According to the Boulder Daily Camera ( ), Garnett says illegal immigrants are vulnerable because they are afraid of police and don’t know the system.
