Police are looking for the driver who took off after running over three people camped out near the side of a road early Saturday morning.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. near 20th and Central Street in Denver. Police say one man died and two other people were hurt. The family of the man who died says it was 50-year-old Shawn Smith.
Smith had worked as a substitute teacher for Denver Public Schools and had been a music teacher in other school districts.
