DENVER—Colorado’s mountains have gotten some more snow.
The National Weather Service said between 2 and 5 inches of snow fell in the northern mountains on Monday. About 3 inches fell in the town of Breckenridge.
In southern Colorado, 4 inches were reported at the Climax mine in Lake County.
A cold front is also threatening to bring a taste of winter to the rest of the state.
Northeastern Colorado, including Denver, could see its first frost of the season on Tuesday. Temperatures below freezing are also possible in southeastern Colorado.
