Zombies everywhere are invited to Thrill the World 2011 from 5 to 8:05 p.m. Oct. 29 at Paul Derda Recreation Center, 13201 Lowell Blvd in Broomfield. Each year, thousands of people around the world come together to honor Michael Jackson and raise funds for charity by dressing up as zombies and taking part in a synchronized dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

The cost is $12 for adults and $7 for children 14 and younger. Proceeds will go to A Precious Child, a Broomfield nonprofit organization that serves disadvantaged and displaced children and families by providing essentials, such as clothing, shoes, coats, schools supplies, diapers, baby food, sports equipment and gifts to impoverished children during the holidays.

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m., with the dance taught from 5 to 7:55 p.m. The dance with the world will begin at 8 p.m. Register online at http://myzumbaclass.jigsy.com/thrill-the-world-2011.
