BRIGHTON, Colo.—The Adams County district attorney is reviewing allegations that a former RTD board member misused money from the union he headed for campaign expenses.

Former employees of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees union told authorities that Kenneth Riley spent thousands of dollars on stamps, employee staff time, a printing job, lunches and a victory party for his campaign for the Denver area transportation board.

According to the Denver Post ( ), Riley sent an email to the board on Monday resigning his board position. Riley could not be reached for comment.
