August was the busiest in Denver International Airport’s 16-year history, with a total of 5,037,947 passengers traveling through the facility.
DIA officials said it was the first time that DIA surpassed 5 million passengers during August. The count also is a 2.3 percent increase from the 4,924,060 travelers who used DIA in August 2010.
