DENVER—Government lawyers say an anti-abortion activist has agreed to pay $750 each to two women to settle a lawsuit alleging she used force against them outside a Denver Planned Parenthood clinic.

The Justice Department said Wednesday a judge also ordered the activist, Jo Ann Scott, not to use force, threats or obstruction to keep anyone from entering a reproductive services facility.

The Justice Department filed a civil suit against Scott alleging she used force against a patient in April 2010 and against a patient’s companion in June 2010 outside the Denver clinic.

The lawsuit also alleged that Scott’s husband, Kenneth Scott, physically obstructed patients and staff at the clinic in 10 incidents. The suit against him is pending.

No phone number could be found for Jo Ann or Kenneth Scott.
