FORT COLLINS, Colo.—A Fort Collins brewery is promising to clean up a horrible smell that is making people sick.
New Belgium Brewery says the smell is coming from outdoor wastewater treatment tanks for byproducts used to make beer. The brewery has brought in another company to do an inspection so that the plant will not have the same odor problems in the future.
According to KMGH-TV ( ), brewery officials say they are using bacteria that eats the waste and they say it’s not toxic.
