A person who died in a two-vehicle collision in Aurora has been identified by police.
Hilario Escalante, 47, of Aurora, died Monday from injuries he received in a crash on Chambers Road at I-70, according to the Aurora Police Department.
Five other people were sent to local hospitals for injuries. Further details on their injuries were not released.
Police said a green Mitsubishi 300 was northbound on Chambers when a black Audi heading southbound attempted a turn on to the eastbound I-70 ramp. The Mitsubishi hit the passenger door of the Audi.
A police investigation is ongoing.
