A Colorado Springs woman was arrested early this morning after she allegedly crashed her car into a field and left the scene.
At about 2:25 a.m. police were sent to the 2100 block of Hancock Expressway on a “roll over traffic accident,” according to the Colorado Springs Police Department crime blotter.
Police said a vehicle was southbound on Union Boulevard when it left the road. Officers arrived and found it in a nearby field but there was no one in the vehicle and no one around.
Officers later caught up with the driver and a passenger at a home and medical personnel was called to attend to injuries they suffered in the crash, police said.
Another passenger had sought medical attention at a local hospital, police said.
None of the injuries were life threatening.
Brandy Longmire, 32, was arrested on suspicion of failure to report a traffic accident, careless driving, no proof of insurance and other traffic charges, police said.
Police said drugs or alcohol do not appear to be involved in the incident.
