A white powder found near a Denver federal building in the area of 19th and Champa streets Sunday morning is cornstarch, according to Denver Fire Department spokesman Phil Champagne.
A hazmat team tested the powder and found nothing to be concerned about, he added. “The police are investigating this for criminal mischief,” he said.
