CARBONDALE, Colo.—The Carbondale Town Board is considering a 2 percent cost-of-living pay raise next year for town employees.

The raise would be the first in three years after the town imposed a wage freeze to cope with the economic downturn.

According to the Aspen Times ( ), Town Manager Jay Harrington believes the town must now work at retaining workers.
