BOULDER, Colo.—The trial for a Lafayette psychic accused of stealing almost $300,000 from clients is now set to start Dec. 12.

The trial of 55-year-old Nancy Marks had been set to start last week, but she missed the first day after being hospitalized.

The Daily Camera reports ( ) a judge reviewed her medical records Tuesday before canceling an arrest warrant he had issued for failing to appear.

Marks faces 14 counts of theft and two counts of tax evasion.

According to police and court records, alleged victims told police that Marks said she needed their cash to “draw out the bad energy” and their credit card numbers to see how frequently the number 6 appeared. Police say Marks kept their cash and used the credit cards.
