Frontier Airlines has enacted guidelines to give travelers flexibility ahead of a winter storm in Denver and Hurricane Rina’s impact on Cancun, Mexico. The policies apply to customers who purchased tickets on or before Oct. 25.
For passengers scheduled to travel to, from and through Denver on Wednesday, one itinerary change without a fee is allowed for those whose travel has already begun. Changes must be made by midnight Wednesday and travel must be completed by Nov. 9.
For those who have not begun travel, one change in travel plans is allowed with a fee if changed by Wednesday.
Denver’s two other large carriers, United and Southwest, continue to monitor conditions.
The same rules are in effect for those impacted by Hurricane Rina in Cancun, although the changes must be made by midnight Saturday and travel must be completed by Nov. 12.
