The Tim Tebow Foundation today announced it is partnering with CURE International, which since 1998 has performed more than 121,000 surgeries to correct physical disabilities and provided medical care to more than 1.5 million patients in developing countries.

Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow created his foundation in January 2010 to offer support worldwide to orphans and to children with life-threatening illnesses.

Tebow said he was excited to partner with CURE because it heals children physically and shares the Gospel. The two organizations will have an ongoing relationship focused on several projects, of which the first will be construction of a hospital in the developing world, according to a foundation spokesman.
