DENVER—An arraignment hearing for a man accused of starting a fire near the U.S. Air Force Academy on the Pike National Forest this summer has been continued until Friday.
Twenty-two-year-old Michael Anthony Penn faces federal charges of setting timber afire and damaging U.S. property by fire.
He appeared in court Thursday. A judge appointed him a federal public defender and continued the arraignment until Friday so that the attorney could have a chance to meet with Penn first.
