DENVER—A Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a man and woman accused of stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of cash and items from 10 senior citizens along the Front Range.

Colorado Attorney General John Suthers said Friday that arrest warrants were issued for 26-year-old Javon Ristick and 27-year-old Erik Burt.

They are accused of entering homes in Arvada, Colorado Springs, Denver, Golden, Lincoln County, Lakewood and Strasburg last year by asking to use the bathroom. Ristick is accused of talking with the victims to distract them while Burt took valuable items.

They each face 11 counts of second-degree burglary. Each also faces a count of criminal impersonation on accusations that they gave false names to an officer who pulled them over last year.
