Three men have been arrested as suspects in a home invasion shooting in Highlands Ranch that stemmed from an apparent drug robbery, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said today.

The shooting happened about 3:15 p.m. Sunday in the 9500 block of Parramatta Place, the sheriff’s office said.

The victim, who was shot in an extremity, was treated at a hospital for the wound and has been released.

The three suspects are Daryl Lee Givens, 18, Ryan Vickerman, 20, and Luke Lamb, 19, according to the sheriff’s office.

Givens, who faces the most possible charges, was taken into custody on Tuesday in Denver near East 29th Avenue and Ash Street. Denver police and a task force assisted Douglas County in his arrest.

Givens is being held in the Douglas County Jail without bond on suspicion of first degree kidnapping, first-degree assault, aggravated robbery, menacing and theft.

Lamb is suspected of theft, first-degree kidnapping and aggravated robbery; Vickerman of conspiracy and aggravated robbery. Lamb’s bond has been set at $250,000 and Vickerman’s at $150,000.

The case is open and an investigation is ongoing, the sheriff’s office said. Investigators did not say whether the shooting victim or the homeowner face possible drug charges in the case.
