Today and Sunday. Mad science experiments, monster mural coloring and a costume contest are some of the highlights of Halloween KidsFest this weekend at the Downtown Aquarium. Some of the aquarium’s spookier residents, including snakes and cockroaches, also should offer some fun scares. Indoor tricks ‘n’ treats

Today and Sunday. Kids can fill bags with candy and spooky toys from more than a dozen booths at the Wildlife Experience’s “Trick-or-Treat Off the Street” event. Activities include crafts, storytelling and a haunted graveyard. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Museum admission is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, $6 for children 3 to 12, and kids under 3 get in free. 10035 S.
