Boulder police said one man broke into three homes and tried to sexually assault one resident early today in the 1100 block of Lincoln Place.
The crimes happened between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. by a man described as white, in his mid-20s and about 5 feet, 9 inches tall. He was said to have a medium build, short, light brown hair in a buzz-cut style. He had no facial hair or glasses. He wore a dark jacket and blue jeans, police said this afternoon.
“The suspect entered through unlocked front doors of all three residences,” Boulder police said in a media release. “The suspect’s movement within bedroom areas awakened each of the female victims.”
The neighborhood is off College Avenue about five blocks west of the University of Colorado campus.
Police urged residents to be sure their doors and windows are locked.
