It’s the 20th annual last chance. Celebrating 20 years, the Colorado Ski and Snowboard Expo arrives at the Colorado Convention Center this weekend (noon Friday through 6 p.m. Sunday) with the final offering of discounted ski passes and seriously slashed prices on gear. All 26 of Colorado’s ski areas will be on hand, ready to trade ski passes for your money and offering “show only” deals on tickets, four-packs, lodging, lessons, dining and everything else.
Greasing the spending this year is a full-blown beerfest, an evolution of the small beer garden that debuted at the expo last year. This year’s Rocky Mountain Brew Fest — $25 tickets, or $20 if purchased in advance — offers suds from 10 brewers.
The famed Uncle E will emcee the expo’s center stage, surrounded by a professional mountain bike stunt team, mountain boarding tricksters, slack-lining acrobats and ski-shod trampoline aerialists.
Expo tickets are $12 at the door or online at , where you can find a combo expo- brew fest ticket for $30 using the promo code BREW.
