A man crossing Interstate 25 at 23rd Street was struck by a car and killed Tuesday night.
The northbound lanes of I-25 were closed at West Colfax Avenue after the 9:40 p.m. incident and were still closed more than an hour later, said Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson.
“It’s just not a good idea to try to cross the interstate on foot anytime,” Jackson said.
