A pedestrian was injured this morning when she was hit by a car in Lakewood.
The auto-pedestrian accident happened at about 6:40 a.m. at the intersection of West Colfax Avenue and Kendall Street, said Steve David, a Lakewood Police Department spokesman.
The woman, who was hit by a white Honda Acura, suffered a leg injury.
Emergency personnel with the West Metro Fire Protection District responded to the scene.
