DENVER—Voters in three Colorado cities have voted to allow medical marijuana businesses to operate in town, while those in three other cities have decided against it.
The Colorado Municipal League says that according to results Tuesday, Brush and Yampa voters have joined Fort Collins in choosing to prohibit dispensaries and marijuana-infused manufacturers in their cities. But Oak Creek, Palisade and Steamboat Springs voters turned aside measures that would have banned them.
Meanwhile residents in Breckenridge, Commerce City, Frisco and Palisade voted to support higher taxes on medical marijuana products. Voters in Brush rejected it.
