The Archdiocese of Denver’s two seminaries will hold a benefit dinner Nov. 11 honoring special guest Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput.

Denver’s former archbishop, who left for his new post in September, is credited with fostering vocations at the seminaries, St. John Vianney Theological Seminary and Redemptoris Mater Archdiocese Missionary Seminary. The two seminaries, which opened in the mid-1990s, have ordained 72 men since 1999.

The tribute dinner is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Seawell Ballroom of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, 1101 13th St. in Denver. Tickets range from $175 to $250 per person.
