A man hit and killed by a car last night on Interstate 25 at 23rd Street was named today.
James Weiner, 41, of Denver, was struck and killed at about 9:40 p.m. trying to cross the freeway as steady rain was turning to snow.
The Denver Medical Examiner’s Office said Weiner was declared dead at Denver Health Medical Center from blunt force trauma related to the incident.
The interstate was closed for more than two hours as police investigated the crash.
