BOULDER, Colo.—A hearing on a Boulder County woman’s request for a new trial on child abuse charges in her infant son’s death is set to resume Nov. 14.
Molly Midyette, who now uses her maiden name of Molly Bowers, was convicted in 2007 of child abuse resulting in the death of her son in 2006.
She argues her ex-husband Alex Midyette, bullied her to keep her from testifying about his alleged role in the death and kept her from assisting in her own defense. Alex Midyette denies her claims. Both were sentenced to 16 years in prison.
The Daily Camera reports ( ) Bowers testified Tuesday about her ex-husband’s behavior.
