Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has cancelled his scheduled trip to the Jewish Federations of North America’s General Assembly next wee in Denver.
“The prime minister and his staff made considerable efforts to adjust his scheduling to allow for a visit to the GA, but in the end, this turned out to be impossible,” said public relations representative Joe Rassenfoss.
Netanyahu was scheduled to deliver the plenary address on Monday to the General Assembly, which last met in Denver in 1994.
The event will bring together 157 separate U.S. Jewish Federations which raise an estimated $3 billion annually for Jewish charities and causes.
