Travelers headed to the slopes this winter now have more options and easier access, according to Colorado Ski Country USA.
Aspen is the beneficiary of several new flights. American Airlines has new daily nonstop flights from Dallas/Fort Worth and Los Angeles. United Airlines has added a second daily nonstop to Aspen from Houston, a fourth daily nonstop from Los Angeles and a 12th daily flight from Denver on peak days. Frontier also is continuing to offer four daily flights from Denver.
The Yampa Valley Regional Airport, serving Steamboat Springs, will unveil the final stage of a $15 million upgrade that includes more and renovated terminal space. Crested Butte, Telluride and Powderhorn also have nonstop service to Denver and other cities.
