Ball Corp. is the first beverage-can manufacturer to introduce a “royal pint” can in North America, the Broomfield-based company announced Friday.

At about 19.2 ounces, the can — often called a royal or imperial pint in the United Kingdom — “offers Ball’s North American customers a new option to differentiate their brands and appeal to consumers,” said Robert Miles, Ball’s vice president of sales for the metal beverage-packaging division.
