BALLINGER, Texas — A bus carrying Abilene Christian University students and faculty to a children’s home for a weekend of missionary work veered out of control Friday and overturned, killing a 19-year-old student and injuring all 15 other people on board, four of them critically, officials said.
Abilene Christian said in a statement that the bus was carrying 12 agricultural students, three faculty members and a faculty member’s spouse when it crashed on U.S. 83 near Ballinger, a town about 200 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
