DENVER—Denver Mayor Michael Hancock is heading to Tokyo for five days of meetings aimed at getting non-stop airline service.

Hancock is heading out Saturday for meetings with representatives from All Nippon Airlines, United Airlines and officials from Tokyo’s Narita Airport.

Hancock tells KDVR-TV () opening a Denver gateway to Asia will boost economic development and encourage companies to relocate to Colorado.
