It was Halloween night and Sheala Edwards was trick-or-treating with her friends when the small, black car pulled up beside them.
Her friends say they didn’t know why, but the 15-year-old Evans girl hopped into the car. And she hasn’t been seen since.
Her parents, Jason and Brenda Edwards, are beside themselves, knowing what they know.
Evans Police Chief Rick Brandt deployed two detectives and a police officer to check out leads Thursday morning, but he said there’s nothing yet to arouse suspicion the girl didn’t run away from home.
